Bumi Sehat means Healthy Earth Mother. Access to quality healthcare and to kind, hygienic, culturally appropriate childbirth is a human right. Each individual is an essential societal component of peace. By caring for the smallest citizens of Earth - babies at birth - Bumi Sehat Foundation is building peace: one mother, one child, one family at a time. Their mission is to reduce maternal and child morbidity and mortality to support the health and wise development of communities. Toward this goal, they provide general health services, emergency care, prenatal, postpartum, birth services as well as breastfeeding support, healthcare, youth education, environmental and disaster relief programs. In this way they improve communities quality of life, building peace.
