Bumi Sehat Foundation
Bumi Sehat means Healthy Earth. Access to quality healthcare and kind, hygienic, culturally appropriate childbirth is a human right. Each individual is an essential societal component of peace. By caring for the Earth's youngest citizens - babies at birth - the Bumi Sehat Foundation is building peace: one mother, one child, one family at a time. Their mission is to reduce maternal and child morbidity and mortality to support communities' health and wise development. Toward this goal, they provide general health services, emergency care, prenatal, postpartum, and birth services, breastfeeding support, healthcare, youth education, and environmental and disaster relief programs. In this way, they improve communities' quality of life, building peace.
