What does it mean to live a spiritual life? What does it mean to go down a path of spirituality? First we have to know what a lifestyle is. It is defined as "the habits, attitudes, tastes, moral standards, etc., that together constitute the mode of living of an individual or group". Anything you choose to do becomes a lifestyle. The interests that you have, become a priority in your life therefore, you choose to partake in those interests. 

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If we break it down even more, we could say that everyone lives a spiritual lifestyle. We are all humans that have souls living in our bodies in the physical realm. What comes with living in the physical realm are daily things we do to make sure we live a proper life. We have to eat, sleep, keep moving, enjoy life in our own unique way, etc.

So when it comes to spirituality, we could say that living a spiritual life is choosing to live in your own unique way that expresses your true Divinity. That's an amazing and freeing thought. No one can tell you how to live your life properly. As long as you know what's best for you, then you have the power to ignore those who put you down. But how do we know what's truly best for us? In a dark age, where negativity is dominating our society, it becomes hard to tell if it's this darkness that is influencing our lives or our Divine soul.

That is where the practicality of spirituality can come in our lives. When we meditate, do yoga, be mindful. We become more aware of our own Divinity and our Divine souls start to live through us, as us. We begin to activate our true potential. We all have it deep inside us but without the practical tools, it will remain dormant. Continue to partake in your own unique spiritual lifestyle and take priority in choosing daily actions that activate your true potential so that you can be the positive light amongst the dark.
